How much does it cost to clean armchairs, ottomans and dining chairs?
An armchair starts at $69 and an ottoman at $49. Upholstered dining chairs are $25 per chair, or $49 for designer or tufted chairs. Six standard dining chairs come to $150.
Is there a minimum charge for upholstery cleaning?
Yes, $129 per visit. A single armchair or a few dining chairs fall under that, so most people add a second piece, like a rug, an ottoman or the couch, to make the visit worth it. Every item keeps its own published price, so you can see exactly where the total comes from.
What changes the price of upholstery cleaning?
Four things: size (more seats or modules), fabric (S- or X-coded, linen, velvet and other delicate fabrics need a different approach, and some can’t be wet-cleaned), condition (heavy buildup or pet accidents) and access (stairs, parking, building rules). Basic spot treatment is included. Heavy stain or pet odor treatment is +$40, and fabric protector is +$40. We tell you about any of this before booking, never on site.
What does a typical LA order cost?
A few real combinations at starting prices: a 3-seat sofa and two armchairs, $149 + 2 × $69 = $287. A corner sectional and an ottoman, $189 + $49 = $238. Six dining chairs, $150. A 2-seat sofa with pet odor treatment, $129 + $40 = $169.
Do prices change by neighborhood in LA?
No. Our starting prices are the same across the areas we serve, from Santa Monica and West Hollywood to Hollywood, Downtown LA and the South Bay. Send your ZIP with your photos so we can confirm we cover your address and pick a time.
Is it cheaper to rent a machine and do it yourself?
For one small spill, maybe. For a whole couch, the savings are usually smaller than people expect once you add the rental and solution, and rental machines tend to leave more water in the cushions, which means longer drying and a risk of water rings or a musty smell. A pro visit also checks the care code first, which matters for fabrics that shouldn’t get wet at all. If your piece is fine for a DIY clean, we’ll tell you.
How long does upholstery cleaning take, and when can I use it?
Most visits take around 1–2 hours. Typical drying time is about 4–8 hours; thick cushions or a humid day can take until the next morning. More on that in how long a couch takes to dry after cleaning.
