Guide · Pet urine & odor

Pet urine & odor on a couch: what cleaning can fix.

Pet urine cleaning on a couch in Los Angeles starts with our standard sofa prices: $129 for a 2-seater, $149 for a 3-seater and $149 for a 4-seater, with sectionals from $189. For urine and pet odors we add a separate deodorizing treatment to the cleaning. Heavy stain or pet odor treatment is a +$40 add-on, so mention the accident when you ask for an estimate. Most couch cleanings take around 1–2 hours. Typical drying time is about 4–8 hours; thick cushions or a humid day can take until the next morning. Method: fabric check, vacuuming, pre-treatment of spots and high-use areas, rinse and extraction, then a final spot check and drying advice. 4.7 ★ from 96 Google reviews (as of October 2, 2026). We can often improve urine stains and odor, but we won’t promise they’ll disappear: urine can soak through the fabric into the cushion foam.

What to send us

Where the accident happened, roughly how long ago, whether it happened more than once, what you’ve already used on it, a photo of the spot and the care tag, and your ZIP.

WHAT IMPROVES

Fresh accidents and surface stains

Fresh accidents that were blotted quickly, and stains that stayed in the top fabric, usually respond best. Pet accidents are one of the most common things customers tell us about: at least 90 of our completed jobs since 2024 had pet stains or urine noted in the booking. For urine and pet odors we add a separate deodorizing treatment to the cleaning. Heavy stain or pet odor treatment is a +$40 add-on, so mention the accident when you ask for an estimate.

WHAT MAY NOT

Old, repeated or deep accidents

When urine has soaked through to the foam, or the same spot has been used again and again, cleaning the fabric may not remove all of the odor. Household sprays and scrubbing can also spread a stain or set it. In those cases we tell you before booking what’s realistic, rather than after.

RIGHT NOW

What to do before we arrive

Blot, don’t rub: press a clean white cloth or paper towels into a fresh accident to soak up as much as you can. Avoid heat such as a hair dryer, and skip strong household sprays. Keep the pet off the spot until it’s cleaned. Take a photo and note what you used, then text it to (424) 209-7667.

BEYOND THE SOFA

Rugs, chairs and mattresses

Accidents rarely stay on one piece. Rugs soak urine into the backing and pad, mattresses absorb it deeply, and armchairs have thick seat cushions. Add every affected item to one estimate so we can plan a single visit.

Pet accident
questions?

Can you get dog or cat urine out of a couch?

Often we can improve it a lot, but we don’t promise complete removal. Urine can soak into the cushion foam, and older or repeated accidents are harder. Send a photo and tell us how old it is.

Do you have a pet odor treatment?

For urine and pet odors we add a separate deodorizing treatment to the cleaning. Heavy stain or pet odor treatment is a +$40 add-on, so mention the accident when you ask for an estimate.

How much does pet urine couch cleaning cost?

It starts at our published sofa prices: $129 for a 2-seater, $149 for a 3-seater and $149 for a 4-seater; sectionals from $189. Heavy or repeated accidents can need more treatment, and we confirm the final quote before booking.

Will the smell come back when it’s humid?

If urine reached the foam, some odor can return on humid days. That’s why we ask about the accident before booking and give you an honest assessment.

My pet had an accident on the rug too. Can you do both?

Yes. Add the rug to the same estimate and tell us whether there’s a pad underneath.

Send your ZIP so we can confirm coverage and availability for your exact address. A valid ZIP by itself doesn’t confirm coverage. An enquiry is not a booking.
