Area rug cleaning in West Hollywood.

Area rug cleaning in West Hollywood starts at $99 for a small rug, $99 for medium and $139 for large. Rugs are the item we clean most in West Hollywood: as of October 2026, 30 of our 75 visits here included at least one rug, and 16 of those visits were for rugs alone. We clean rugs right at your home by default, on the floor where they live. If a rug can’t be cleaned in place, pickup and return is possible as an exception, for an extra fee; ask when you book. Our process: identify the fibers, vacuum out dry soil, treat spots and traffic lanes, rinse and extract, then explain drying. 4.7 ★ from 96 Google reviews (as of October 2, 2026).

SIZES WE SEE MOST

From runners to 9×12s

When customers in West Hollywood list a size, it’s most often an 8×10, followed by 5×8 and 6×9 rugs, with a few 9×12s in larger living rooms. On our price list, the small, medium and large options are starting points: send the length and width and we’ll confirm which one applies before you book.

Runners in hallways and small rugs by the bed or kitchen are priced as small rugs. If you have several, add each one to your estimate.

MATERIALS

Wool, viscose, jute and synthetics

Wool cleans well but holds water, so it needs time to dry. Synthetic rugs are usually the most forgiving. Viscose (often sold as art silk or bamboo silk) can yellow, lose its sheen or matt when wet, and some viscose rugs shouldn’t be wet-cleaned at all. Jute and sisal can brown or water-stain. If we don’t think your rug is a good candidate for our process, we’ll tell you before you book.

PET ACCIDENTS

Urine and odor in rugs

Urine soaks through the pile into the backing and often into the pad underneath, and older accidents are harder than fresh ones. We can often improve it, but we won’t promise it will disappear completely. Tell us how old the accident is, what you’ve already used on it and whether there’s a pad. For urine and pet odors we add a separate deodorizing treatment to the cleaning. Heavy stain or pet odor treatment is a +$40 add-on, so mention the accident when you ask for an estimate.

CONDOS & ACCESS

Permit parking, elevators and drying

Most of our West Hollywood rug jobs are in apartments and condos. Tell us about permit or guest parking, the elevator or stairs, and any building hours for contractors. After cleaning, keep foot traffic off and wait until the rug is fully dry before putting the pad and heavy furniture back. Typical drying time is about 4–8 hours; thick pile or a humid day can take until the next morning.

Rug questions from
West Hollywood?

How much does rug cleaning cost in West Hollywood?

Published starting prices are $99 for a small rug, $99 for medium and $139 for large, the same across Los Angeles. Size, fiber, condition and access can change the final quote, and we confirm it before you book.

Do you clean rugs at my home or take them away?

We clean rugs right at your home by default, on the floor where they live. If a rug can’t be cleaned in place, pickup and return is possible as an exception, for an extra fee; ask when you book.

Can you clean a viscose rug?

Sometimes. Viscose is one of the most delicate rug fibers and can be damaged by water. Send a photo and the label, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can clean it.

How long does a rug take to dry?

Thin flatweaves dry fairly quickly; thick wool pile takes longer, and airflow and humidity make the biggest difference. Typical drying time is about 4–8 hours; thick pile or a humid day can take until the next morning.

Can you clean my couch and rug in the same visit?

Yes, and it’s common here. Add both to your estimate, for example a 3-seater sofa and a medium rug.

Send your ZIP so we can confirm coverage and availability for your exact address. A valid ZIP by itself doesn’t confirm coverage. An enquiry is not a booking.
